Ulysses Motorcycle Club members need donations of toys for needy children this Christmas.

THE Macarthur branch of the Ulysses Motorcycle Club is encouraging residents to donate gifts before its annual toy run is held on Sunday, December 6.

The club’s spokeswoman Dot Lechner said more donations were needed for the 10th toy run, with all presents donated to the Salvation Army.

“Anyone in the community interested in contributing gifts and toys to this very good cause is invited along,” she said.

“Donations for children aged from one to 15 years are needed. They must be new and unused under health regulations.”

The toy run will depart from McDonald’s in Narellan at 11am before a ride through Narellan, Camden and Menangle.

The bikes will then ride to Campbelltown’s Koshigaya Park for the handover of the toys to the Salvation Army.

There will then be a gold coin donation barbecue, with money raised going to Salvation Army.

Ulysses, which is for mature-aged motorcyclists, also recently held a get together with residents from drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre Odyssey House.

The get together was aimed at helping Odyssey House residents in their rehabilitation process.

To make donations for bike run: 0410 543 501.
